On March 4, 2026 the Greater Northwest Harris County Chapter received its charter approval from the National Action Network. It is dedicated to advancing justice, equality, and community empowerment throughout Northwest Harris County and surrounding communities.
The chapter organizers are Reverend Reginald Lillie, President; Bishop John Ogletree, Jr., Vice President; Mrs. Lizza Harris, Secretary; and Ms. Brittany Dyson, Treasurer. The chapter was chartered with a total of 28 members. Our chapter works to promote civic engagement, leadership development, voter education, and advocacy while addressing issues that impact our communities. As part of the National Action Network, founded by Rev. Al Sharpton in 1991, we are committed to creating positive change through action, education, and community partnerships.
